This is Article 4 of the Code of Virginia, titled “Emergency Custody and Involuntary Temporary Detention.” It is part of Chapter 8 “Emergency Custody and Voluntary and Involuntary Civil Admissions”, which is part of Subtitle III “Admissions and Dispositions”, which is part of Title 37.2 “Behavioral Health and Developmental Services”. § 37.2-811 Emergency treatment of inmates in the custody of local correctional facilities
§ 37.2-812 Repealed
§ 37.2-813 (Effective July 1, 2026) Release of person prior to commitment hearing for involuntary admission
