§ 30-14.2 Reenrollment of bills amended in accordance with recommendations of Governor

The Clerk of the House of Delegates in his capacity as Keeper of the Rolls of the Commonwealth shall reenroll all bills which have been amended in accordance with the recommendation of the Governor, and such reenrolled bills shall be treated in the same manner as provided in Article IV, Section 11 of the Constitution of Virginia for every bill that has passed both houses, before being presented to the Governor for his final action.

History

This law was first created in 1950. The record of its establishment is cataloged at page 7 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year. Unfortunately, the 1950 “Acts” aren’t available online. It has been modified 2 times. Those modifications are cataloged by “The Acts of Assembly,” a state publication, by year and chapter. Those modifications that can be read on the General Assembly’s website will be linked accordingly. Those modifications are as follows: in 1970, chapter 170; in 1971, chapter 1 of the Extra Session.

1950, p. 7; 1970, c. 170; 1971, Ex. Sess., c. 1.
