§ 12.1-8 Quorum of members

A majority of the commissioners shall constitute a quorum for the exercise of judicial, legislative, and discretionary functions of the Commission, whether there be a vacancy in the Commission or not, but a quorum shall not be necessary for the exercise of its administrative functions.

History

This law was first created in 1971. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapter 157 of the Extra Session of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year. Unfortunately, the 1971 “Acts” aren’t available online.

1971, Ex. Sess., c. 157.
