						<section><p>Independent experts employed by (i) an attorney of record for a person <span class="dictionary">accused</span> of violation of any criminal <span class="dictionary">law</span> of the Commonwealth or (ii) the <span class="dictionary">accused</span>, for the purpose of reexamination of <span class="dictionary">materials</span> previously examined in any laboratory of the Department, shall conduct their analyses or examinations independently of the facilities, equipment, or supplies of the Department.</p></section></text><history>2005, cc. 868, 881.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
