						<section><p>Any deed, or a part of a deed, that fails to take effect by virtue of this chapter shall, nevertheless, be as valid and effectual and as binding upon the parties, so far as the rules of <span class="dictionary">law</span> and <span class="dictionary">equity</span> permit, as if this chapter had not been enacted.</p></section></text><history>Code 1919, &#xA7; 5169; Code 1950, &#xA7; 55-51; 2019, c. 712.</history><metadata><court_decisions></court_decisions></metadata></law>
