						<section><p>A <span class="dictionary">petition</span> filed pursuant to &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Petition for action to fix boundaries of village or unincorporated community" href="/55.1-2828/">55.1-2828</a>, if verified by the <span class="dictionary">oath</span> of one or more of the petitioners, shall be prima facie <span class="dictionary">evidence</span> of the <span class="dictionary">facts</span> stated therein, and the <span class="dictionary">court</span> without further <span class="dictionary">evidence</span> shall proceed to enter the <span class="dictionary">order</span> fixing the boundaries of the village or unincorporated community unless such <span class="dictionary">petition</span> is contested.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 8-895; 1977, c. 624, &#xA7; 55-325; 2019, c. 712.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
