						<section><p>Any person who is in the <span class="dictionary">custody</span> of an officer of this Commonwealth pursuant to a detainer issued in accordance with this chapter and who escapes from such <span class="dictionary">custody</span> shall be guilty of a <span class="dictionary">felony</span> and punished by confinement in a <span class="dictionary">state correctional facility</span> for not less than one nor more than five years.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 53-304.5; 1970, c. 407; 1982, c. 636.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
