						<section><p>On receipt of an application and written <span class="dictionary">evidence</span> that the applicant is a member of any of the following military veterans&#x2019; organizations, the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> shall <span class="dictionary">issue</span> special <span class="dictionary">license plates</span> to the members of the following organizations: the Legion of Valor of the USA, the Marine Corps League, the Retired Officers Association, the Veterans of the Battle of Iwo Jima, and the Vietnam Veterans of America.</p><p>The provisions of subdivisions 1 and 2 of subsection B of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Special license plates, generally" href="/46.2-725/">46.2-725</a> shall not apply to <span class="dictionary">license plates</span> issued to members of the Legion of Valor of the USA under this section.</p></section></text><history>1995, c. 747; 1996, c. 1026; 1997, cc. 774, 816; 2000, cc. 75, 111; 2002, c. 90; 2003, c. 921; 2004, c. 984.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
