						<section><p>It shall be unlawful for any person willfully to remove, alter, deface, or tamper with any number, plate, bracket, sticker, <span class="dictionary">decal</span>, indication, or other device indicating the manufacturer&#x2019;s gross <span class="dictionary">vehicle</span> weight rating of any <span class="dictionary">vehicle</span> which (i) has a manufacturer&#x2019;s gross <span class="dictionary">vehicle</span> weight rating of 15,000 pounds or less and (ii) has been modified by alteration of its height from the ground. Violation of this section shall constitute a Class 3 <span class="dictionary">misdemeanor</span>.</p></section></text><history>1991, c. 193.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
