						<section><p>There shall be no liability on the part of and no <span class="dictionary">cause of action</span> shall arise against any <span class="dictionary">member insurer</span>, the <span class="dictionary">Association</span> or its agents or employees, the board of directors, or the <span class="dictionary">Commission</span> or its representatives for any action taken or statement made by them in good faith in the performance of their powers and duties under this chapter. The <span class="dictionary">Association</span>&#x2019;s board of directors shall not incur any civil liability for any statements made in good faith under this provision.</p></section></text><history>1970, c. 766, &#xA7; 38.1-772; 1986, c. 562.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
