						<section><p>It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, on or after June 26, 1970, to violate any provisions of <span class="dictionary">this law</span> or the rules and regulations made pursuant hereto. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of <span class="dictionary">this law</span>, or the rules and regulations made hereunder, shall be deemed guilty of a Class 1 <span class="dictionary">misdemeanor</span> and, upon <span class="dictionary">conviction</span> thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 12-81; 1970, c. 305; 1971, Ex.
