						<section><p>The making of marketing agreements between <span class="dictionary">producers</span>&#x2019; cooperative marketing associations and <span class="dictionary">distributors</span> and <span class="dictionary"><span class="dictionary">producer</span>-<span class="dictionary">distributors</span></span> under the provisions of this chapter shall not be deemed a combination in restraint of trade or an illegal monopoly; or an attempt to lessen competition or fix prices arbitrarily, nor shall the marketing <span class="dictionary">contract</span> or agreements between the association and the <span class="dictionary">distributors</span> and <span class="dictionary"><span class="dictionary">producer</span>-<span class="dictionary">distributors</span></span>, or any agreements authorized in this chapter, be considered illegal or in restraint of trade.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 3-382; 1966, c. 702, &#xA7; 3.1-461; 2008, c. 860.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
