						<section><p>Every person owning land in the district who shall neglect or fail to pay to the treasurer of the county in which his land is located the full amount for which his land is liable, within the time above specified, shall be deemed as consenting to the issuance of the drainage <span class="dictionary">bonds</span>, and in consideration of the right to pay his proportion in installments he thereby <span class="dictionary">waives</span> his right of defense to the payment of any assessments which may be levied for the payment of the <span class="dictionary">bonds</span>, because of any irregularity, illegality, or defect in the proceedings prior to such time, except in case of an <span class="dictionary">appeal</span>, as hereinbefore provided, which is not affected by this <span class="dictionary">waiver</span>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1919, &#xA7; 1773.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
