						<section><p>The board of viewers of the county in which the <span class="dictionary">petition</span> was filed shall give notice by publication three times in some newspaper published in the county in which the project, or some part thereof, is situated, if there be any such newspaper, with the first publication appearing no more than 35 days before and the third publication appearing no less than seven days before the <span class="dictionary">hearing</span>, and also by posting a written or printed notice at the door of the courthouse and at five conspicuous places in the project, reciting that they propose to <span class="dictionary">issue</span> drainage <span class="dictionary">bonds</span> for the total cost of the improvement, giving the amount of the <span class="dictionary">bonds</span> to be issued, the rate of interest that they are to bear, and the time when payable.</p></section></text><history>Code 1919, &#xA7; 1772; 1926, p. 623; 1954, c. 642; 2023, cc. 506, 507; 2024, cc. 225, 242.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
