						<section><p>In case the work is delayed by high water, sickness or any other good cause, and the final report is not completed at the time fixed by the <span class="dictionary">court</span>, the engineer on the board of viewers shall communicate with the <span class="dictionary">court</span> or the <span class="dictionary">judge</span> thereof in vacation, either before or after the expiration of the time, and state in writing the cause of such failure and ask for sufficient time in which to complete the work and the <span class="dictionary">court</span> or the <span class="dictionary">judge</span> thereof shall set another date by which the report shall be completed and filed; the action of the <span class="dictionary">court</span> or <span class="dictionary">judge</span> in such a case to be conclusive <span class="dictionary">evidence</span> as to the sufficiency of the grounds for such postponement or extension.</p></section></text><history>Code 1919, &#xA7; 1754; 1926, p. 613.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
