						<section><p>Any <span class="dictionary">county</span>, city, <span class="dictionary">town</span> or other public body, or <span class="dictionary">person</span> may be restrained, enjoined or otherwise prevented from violating or continuing the violation of any provision of &#xA7;&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Discharge into tidal waters of matter causing pollution" href="/21-218/">21-218</a> and <a class="law" title="Discharge of matter injurious to system" href="/21-219/">21-219</a> by <span class="dictionary">injunction</span>, mandamus or any other appropriate remedy at <span class="dictionary">law</span> or in <span class="dictionary">equity</span>, by any <span class="dictionary">court</span> of competent <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span>, upon action, bill, suit or other proceeding instituted by the commission or by any attorney for the Commonwealth.</p></section></text><history>1938, p. 528; Michie Code 1942, &#xA7; 1560ccc.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
