						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">Governor</span> shall whenever required by the <span class="dictionary">executive authority</span> of the United States, pursuant to the Constitution and <span class="dictionary">laws</span> thereof, deliver over to justice any person found within the Commonwealth, who is charged with having committed any <span class="dictionary">crime</span> without the <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span> of the United States.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 19.1-47; 1960, c. 366; 1975, c. 495.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
