						<section><p>If any person shall install or cause to be installed or use or cause to be used any microphone or device designed for recording or transmitting for recording sound in any <span class="dictionary">jury</span> room in this Commonwealth for the purpose of recording the <span class="dictionary">deliberations</span> of any <span class="dictionary">jury</span> or for the purpose of preparing a summary of such <span class="dictionary">deliberations</span>, he shall be guilty of a Class 6 <span class="dictionary">felony</span>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 18.1-299; 1960, c. 358; 1975, cc. 14, 15.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
