						<section><p>Any <span class="dictionary">court</span> of record may at any term, whether regular or special, adjourn from time to time for a period not exceeding thirty days until the business before it is dispatched, or until the end of its term. The <span class="dictionary">judge</span> of the <span class="dictionary">court</span> shall, during the period of such adjournment, have the power and authority to hold regular or special terms at any other place as if there had been a final adjournment of such term.</p></section></text><history>Code 1919, &#xA7; 5959, &#xA7; 17-21; 1998, c. 872.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
