						<section><p>If, after due and diligent search, a <span class="dictionary">commissioner</span> to whom charges are required to be delivered hereunder cannot be found within the <span class="dictionary">city</span> where the <span class="dictionary">authority</span> is located, such charges shall be deemed served upon the <span class="dictionary">commissioner</span> if mailed to him at his last known address as it appears upon the records of the <span class="dictionary">authority</span>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 32-227; 1979, c. 719, &#xA7; 15.1-1546; 1997, c. 587.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
