						<section><p>The Commission shall have all the power and authority of a <span class="dictionary">court</span> of record as provided in Article IX, Section 3 of the Constitution of Virginia to <span class="dictionary">issue</span> a temporary or a permanent <span class="dictionary">injunction</span> against any violation or attempted violation of any provision of this chapter or any <span class="dictionary">order</span>, rule, or regulation of the Commission issued pursuant to this chapter. For the violation of any <span class="dictionary">injunction</span> or <span class="dictionary">order</span> issued under this chapter it shall have the same power to punish for <span class="dictionary">contempt</span> as a <span class="dictionary">court</span> of <span class="dictionary">equity</span>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 13-137; 1956, c. 428; 1971, Ex.
