						<section><p>Any person elected or appointed to be a member of the Commission shall qualify by taking and subscribing the <span class="dictionary">oath</span> required by Article II, Section 7 of the Constitution of Virginia. If any member shall fail to so qualify within thirty days after the commencement of his term of office, such office shall become vacant.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7;&#xA7; 12-11, 12-12; 1971, Ex.
