						<section><p>Any <span class="dictionary">district director</span> may be removed by the <span class="dictionary">Board</span> for neglect of duty or malfeasance in office, or may be removed in accordance with the provisions of general <span class="dictionary">law</span>. Upon receipt of a sworn complaint against a director filed by a majority of the <span class="dictionary">directors</span> of that same district, the <span class="dictionary">Board</span> shall (i) notify the <span class="dictionary">district director</span> that a complaint has been filed against him and (ii) hold a <span class="dictionary">hearing</span> to determine whether the <span class="dictionary">district director</span>&#x2019;s conduct constitutes neglect of duty or malfeasance in office.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 21-51; 1964, c. 512; 1970, c. 480; 1988, c. 891; 1996, c. 493.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
