CODE OF VIRGINIA

CIVIL PENALTIES (§ 59.1-573)

Any person who violates any provision of this chapter is subject to a civil
penalty of $5,000 and an additional $1,000 for each day the violation continues.
Such penalty shall be collected by the Attorney General and the proceeds shall
be deposited into the Literary Fund.
