CODE OF VIRGINIA

ESTATES TO LIE IN GRANT AS WELL AS IN LIVERY (§ 55.1-104)

All real estate shall, as regards the conveyance of the immediate freehold
thereof, be deemed to lie in grant as well as in livery.
