In circuit<\/span> court<\/span>, upon the conviction<\/span> of a person of any and each misdemeanor<\/span> reduced from a felony<\/span> charge, or upon a deferred disposition<\/span> of proceedings in the case of any and each misdemeanor<\/span> reduced from a felony<\/span> charge and deferred pursuant to the terms and conditions of \u00a7 4.1-305<\/a>, 16.1-278.8<\/a>, 16.1-278.9<\/a>, 18.2-57.3<\/a>, 19.2-298.02<\/a>, 19.2-303.2<\/a>, or 19.2-303.6<\/a>, there shall be assessed as court<\/span> costs a fee of $227, to be known as the fixed fee for felony<\/span> reduced to misdemeanor<\/span>. However, this section shall not apply to those proceedings provided for in \u00a7 17.1-275.8<\/a>.

\t\tThe amount collected, in whole or in part, for the fixed fee for felony<\/span> reduced to misdemeanor<\/span> shall be apportioned to the following funds in the fractional amounts designated:<\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
